.

There are three ways to enter data.

For a trick to keep colors constant across multiple maps, see this note.

Don't forget to give your map a descriptive title!

Title:

Option one: enter your values into the appropriate fields:

Precinct 1: Precinct 8: Precinct 15:
Precinct 2: Precinct 9: Precinct 16:
Precinct 3: Precinct 10: Precinct 17:
Precinct 4: Precinct 11: Precinct 18:
Precinct 5: Precinct 12: Precinct 19:
Precinct 6: Precinct 13: Precinct 20:
Precinct 7: Precinct 14: Precinct 21:

Option two: paste in a column of 21 numbers, one number per line only. The numbers will be interpreted as above, assigned to each precinct in order:

For example:
 105
 117
 -26
  76
 163
  51
  69
-201
  53
-119
  33
-137
 174
 -21
 106
 -37
  78
 144
  56
 -28
  31

This section allows you to change the endpoint colors for linear mapping options above. If you like the red-blue maps, or if you are specifying your own colors below, just skip this. (The picker may not work on older browsers, I didn't write that code. If you need color values, look on the web for a chart).

Low Color (default #0000FF, that's blue): Pick
High Color (default #FF0000, that's red): Pick

Option three: paste in a matrix of 84 numbers, 4 numbers per line. The first three numbers in the line define the color, and the fourth is the numeric data. Note that this will override the linear color selections above.

For example:
1.0 0.0 0.0 1
1.0 0.3 0.0 2
1.0 0.5 0.0 3
1.0 0.8 0.0 4
0.9 1.0 0.0 5
0.7 1.0 0.0 6
0.4 1.0 0.0 7
0.1 1.0 0.0 8
0.0 1.0 0.2 9
0.0 1.0 0.4 10
0.0 1.0 0.7 11
0.0 1.0 0.9 12
0.0 0.8 1.0 13
0.0 0.5 1.0 14
0.0 0.2 1.0 15
0.1 0.0 1.0 16
0.3 0.0 1.0 17
0.6 0.0 1.0 18
0.9 0.0 1.0 19
1.0 0.0 0.9 20
1.0 0.0 0.6 21
