We also went on a very unique trip into the bowels of the worlds largest
particle accelerator at <a href="http://www.cern.ch/CERN/">CERN</a>.  The
ring itself, apart from its shear size, is a little plain.  Except for the
slight curve, it looks like any steam tunnel anywhere in the world.
